Sinoma Research Institute (SRI) was established under Sinoma Int. in 2010 as advanced cement based materials innovation center focusing on the fundamental R&D and engineering application of Portland cement and low-energy low-CO2-emission cements, such as reactive belite cement and sulphoaluminate cement. SRI has an experienced research team consisting of professorate senior engineers and Ph.Ds. Some of them are inventors of many national patents and winners of science and technology awards at State-level and Ministry-level.
The cement and concrete research laboratory at SRI is equipped with advanced research facilities for material processing, microstructure characterization and physical, chemical and mechanical property testing of cementitious materials. The lab can perform the fundamental research on cement hydration and microstructural development of cementitious materials, the development and application of high-performance cements, and so on. SRI has undertaken many research projects from the national research funding and industry.
